Our Vision is to BE the Church. As you exercise believing, saving faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you do not then begin going to church . . . you have become the Church. Church is not what you do; Church is what you are!
Therefore, through our P.O.W.E.R. program--Prayer, Outreach, Word, Evangelism, Restoration/Revival, we believe that God has granted us the path towards being the impactful Church that He desires in this day and time. Through P.O.W.E.R., and God's power, our Vision aligns with our Mission and Purpose.
Vision Principles
- The God-breathed, error-free, all-true Bible is our foundation.
- Focus upon daily devotional Bible Reading.
- A praying people: intercessory, personal, and corporate prayer.
- A praising people: encourage active praise in corporate worship and personal praise for God's daily blessings.
- A worshipping people: encouragement to live a life of personal worship each day through obedience to God's Word; exercise corporate worship of God when gathered together.
- Teach the true Word from a biblical foundation and truly teach the Word from an apologetic foundation in order to establish and strengthen a Christian worldview.
- Developing fundamentals to the Christian faith (Word, Works, and Worship).
- Careful and fair study of worldviews that differ from Christianity.
- Exposing false doctrines within the Church.
- Defending against false doctrines outside of the Church.
- Teaching the truth about God through life experience and experience with the Word.
- Understanding life through the eyes of God by developing a biblical worldview.
- Identify areas of spiritual and personal growth and then define an action and accountability plan with a trusted Christian friend or TLCC leader.
- Changing lives for Christ through the love, knowledge, and power of Christ, according to the Scriptures.
- Reaching outside the walls of the church to bring people into the love of Christ.
